Here's a great selection of the song "Resin on my Heartstrings" by Newton Faulkner. Faulkner is a singer-songwriter. He has two albums out, but for whatever reason, I almost never hear him get talked about much. It's too bad because he's got a great eclectic style and is far more interesting than most singer-songwriters out there. This song is an example of something more conventional, but unlike most conventional love songs, he never dips into sentimentality.
